EUROSAFE FOAM CONCENTRATES
DESCRIPTION
In order to achieve rapid fire suppression, foam concentrate produces a narrow aqueous film layer that restricts the release of fuel vapors. The foam blankets dampen down the fire and prevent reignition. A cooling effect is provided by the water content of the foam. Provide high penetrating and moisture characteristics, as well as extinguishing fires from nonpolar hydrocarbon fuels.
EUROSAFE shall be able to meet a number of firefighting challenges by offering a wide range of Environmentally Sustainable ES Brand Firefighting Foam Concentrates. Our foam concentrate complies with and is approved by various international standards such as UL 162, FM 5130, EN 1568, ISO 7203, ICAO, IMO, etc.

FOAM CONCENTRATE STORAGE RECOMMENDATIONS AND GUIDELINES
SHELF LIFETIMES
EUROSAFE Fire Protect provides a variety of high-quality foam concentrates that are carefully prepared to provide great storage stability as well as firefighting efficacy. If the foam is maintained properly according to the requirements, it should have a shelf life of at least 10 years. To guarantee optimal performance, foam should be tested at least once a year, as specified in NFPA 11, Section 8-2, “At least once a year, an inspection of foam concentrates and their tanks or storage containers shall be made for evidence of excessive sledding or deterioration.” Concentrate samples must be supplied to the manufacturer or a recognized laboratory for quality condition testing.”
STORAGE TEMPERATURE
The maximum allowed storage temperature is 49oC (120oF), however, temperatures as high as 60oC (140oF) are acceptable for brief periods of time. If When the ambient temperature exceeds 35oC (95oF), storage vessels should be maintained in a shed or inside. The product data sheets include the Freezing Point and Lowest Use Temperatures (LUT) at which foam concentrates will proportion appropriately. Storage containers should be equipped with insulating lagging if the ambient temperature is below the LUT or freezing point. Add no freezing point depressants such as ethylene glycol or any proprietary antifreeze products. The performance of most foam concentrates is unaffected by repeated freezing and thawing. It should be noted, however, that foam concentrates expand upon solidification and, like water freezing, may harm a totally rigid container. Foam concentrate transport containers are labeled with the minimum and maximum storage temperatures in line with UL 162 (7th Edition).
FOAM STORAGE TANK
Foam concentrations can be transferred to bulk storage tanks for long-term storage. EUROSAFE Supply Foam Storage tank 5000L to 15000L.
EUROSAFE foam concentrates come in AFFF, AR-AFFF, FP, and FFFP varieties. We have low-temperature foam concentrations available. Eurosafe foam concentrations come in 20L, 30L, 200L, and 1000L drums or totes. Not all models and configurations may be approved in every way.
